Marble Station

Target:  Intrusion–related quartz vein and stockwork system in prospective Yerington ore-stage granodiorites with potential for high gold grades and associated copper mineralization.

Area:  50 mining claims covering 1,032 acres, or 4.18 km2

Location:  The project is located in Lyon Co. in west-central Nevada and is approximately 15 km south-southeast of major copper and copper-gold projects in the Yerington mining district (Nevada Copper, Entrée Gold, Quaterrra Resources) and approximately 16 km northeast of Lincoln Mining’s Pine Grove intrusion-related gold vein project (5.50 Mt @ 1.80 g/t Au).

Ownership:   The Marble Station project consists of 50 unpatented mining claims 100% controlled by Altan Nevada, all on Bureau of Land Management ground.

OVERVIEW - UNDEREXPLORED GOLD-COPPER PLAY A FEW KILOMETERS FROM A MAJOR NEVADA DISTRICT

Marble Station is an early-stage gold-copper project located in western Nevada approximately 8 kilometers south of the Yerington copper district, a major past producer from porphyry deposits. Current projects include Nevada Copper’s Pumpkin Hollow (529.8 Mt @ 0.45% Cu and 0.058 g/tonne Au) and Entrée Gold’s Ann Mason (1137 Mt @ 0.33% Cu). At Marble Station, there are numerous old shallow pits exploring quartz veins and oxidized sericite-altered shear zones, however there has been no drilling and little modern exploration.

OVERVIEW – HIGH GRADE VALUES SAMPLED AT SURFACE, TARGET DEFINITION PROGRAM PLANNED

Mineralized exposures at Marble Station display high grade quartz veins and shears. Grab samples from historic dumps and pits assay up to 8 g/t Au and 2% Cu. One major east-west striking mineralized zone outlined so far extends for 1.6 km. Altan Nevada controls 50 claims (100%) covering an area of 1,032 acres (4.18 square km.) The company plans an aggressive exploration program of mapping, geochemistry and geophysics to define structural Au-Cu drill targets.

GEOLOGY – HIGH-GRADE GOLD AND COPPER IN YERINGTON-ORE STAGE INTRUSIVES

Rocks exposed at surface at Marble Station are predominantly Yerington-ore stage (Mesozoic) granodiorites. Sericitic alteration and quartz-filled shear zones are common; with grades locally up to 8 g/t Au and 2% Cu. Marble Station resembles Lincoln Mining’s nearby Pine Grove intrusion-related Au-Cu project (5.50 Mt @ 1.80 g/t Au and 0.036% Cu). Intrusion-related deposits are recognized in Yukon, Alaska, and worldwide; many exceed 3 Moz Au, including Kinross’ Fort Knox mine (237,745,000 tonnes grading 0.47 g/t Au).

RECENT WORK – LIMITED GEOCHEMISTRY AND GEOPHYSICS

Altan Nevada has conducted only preliminary surface exploration work at the Marble Station project. This consists of rock-chip grab sampling and a ground magnetic survey.

WHAT’S NEXT – ADDITIONAL DRILL TARGET DEFINITION WORK PLANNED

Marble Station is a very early stage project and additional work is required to finalize drill targets. Altan Nevada management has formulated a $125,000 exploration program of geologic mapping, geochemical sampling and geophysics to define high quality Phase I drill targets. Geochemical surveys will include additional rock chip sampling as well as soil sampling. Geophysical work may include gravity and IP.
